Cold Spell In Denver

A bit of a cold spell came through Denver. Thank goodness Grandma Cheryl made me this wonderful hat. I just love it.

Road Trip to Fort Collins

Emma's first real road trip - just over an hour north of Denver to Fort Collins to see Brandon and Stacy. We had a great lunch and then visited New Belgium Brewing. No, Emma did not partake in the sampling.

Happy First Mother's Day

We didn't get many pictures today, but it was a great day. My mommy is the best ever and I love her very much. Dad is pretty good too, but I oh so love my Mommy. Happy Mother's Day.

Happy Easter

Hoping the Easter Bunny finds you today.

Our Little S'moore

This Doesn't Make Me A Bad Daddy Does It?

Seriously, we were just playing....

Emma Kate - 6 Weeks

Just like the books say, Emma is becoming more and more alert. It seems like she actually means to smile now and it's not a bi-product of gas. Her eyes are able to follow objects in front of her and she can hold her head up pretty good. She's figuring out her feeding and sleeping schedules. Slept 7 hours the other night. Sweet!

Smith Family Visit

Jen's brother Michael and his family (Erin, Delaney and Riley) came out to meet Emma, see Aunt Heather and Uncle Phil and play in the snow. We had a great time and can't wait for them to come back out and see us again - soon!

Sleepy Time - Emma 5 Weeks

Too cute not to post.

Spring Break - Schoenauer's Visit

Emma's first spring break - no, not a trip to South Padre or Lauderdale. Uncle Steve, aunt Lori and cousins Hunter and Cade stopped by on their way up to Copper Mountain for spring break. Hunter and Cade were great with Emma. Perhaps they can come out this summer from Iowa and babysit???

Angie and Henry Come To Denver

Angie Hayes and her son Henry came to Denver the middle of March. It was great to see them - and Henry is getting so big. The girls enjoyed watching the kids play together (Henry, Roan and Emma).
