Emergency Hospital Visit - A Real Scare For Mom & Dad

A skin infection around Emma's belly button prompted an emergency visit to Children's Hospital. However, after 48 hours and powerful IV antibiotics Emma was as good as new.

The accommodations at The University of Colorado Hospital were fantastic, but 36 hours after we welcomed Emma to the world we were ready to go home.

For all you dads out there, I'm sure you can relate to how nerve racking the drive home was - especially during a Colorado snow storm.
